PERSONAL PROTECTION
The TASER C2 is TASER International’s newest and most exciting product designed for personal protection. Utilizing the same technology as its proven law enforcement models, the TASER C2 has incredible take-down power. The device fits easily in your pocket or purse and operates with the simple push of a button with no recoil.

AN ELECTRONIC CONTROL DEVICE
A TASER C2 self-defense electronic control device can stop threats up to 15 feet away. It works by shooting out two probes connected to a wire attached to the TASER (see picture below). The probes travel at a speed of over 160 feet per second and deliver a 50,000-volt electric signal, resulting in an immediate loss of the person’s neuromuscular control and the ability to perform coordinated action for the duration of the impulse. In the event you have to use the TASER C2 to defend yourself, you can set the device down – it will continue to discharge for 30 seconds while you get to safety.

PROTECTION AT 15 FEET
The TASER C2 uses a replaceable TASER cartridge containing compressed nitrogen to deploy two small probes that are attached to the TASER C2 by insulated conductive wires with a maximum length of 15 feet. The TASER C2 transmits 50,000 volts of electrical pulses along the wires and into the body, dramatically affecting the sensory and motor functions of the peripheral nervous system. The energy can penetrate up to two cumulative inches of clothing or one inch per probe.
